Hello my name is Matthew Pierce and I have been living with schizophrenia for 14 years and have been in treatment for 12 years.

Over that time period I have developed a sophisticated tool chest of helpful lifestyle changes, supplements and prescription drugs that have been invaluable on my road to recovery. Though I am not completely recovered with the help of numerous researchers, friends, and family I am giving back to my community more and more each day and living a life with more possibility and steadiness than many thought possible.

I now spend a portion of my time helping others with mental illness as a peer support advocate, sharing the lessons I’ve learned from 14 years of study—10 of which were spent in an intellectually rigorous way.
